Mr. Beddow has 20 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer for a variety of Commercial, Government and Foreign projects. He has worked as an energy consultant in the U.S.A., Germany and Switzerland, and has extensive practical experience in new construction, renovation and retrofit projects for energy efficient buildings.
As Project Director of B2E Consulting Engineers, Mr. Beddow is responsible for the planning, evaluation and design of all projects. He establishes the long-term scheduling of the projects and is actively involved in all phases of the work to ensure high quality and consistency in design.
Mr. Beddow is the author of many copy-written and published papers on proper planning and design of conventional and innovative systems for the reduction of energy consumption and improvement of indoor air quality as well as water treatment design. His designs for public facilities have saved Clients on initial cost while improving indoor air quality and reducing operating costs (See letters of recognition attached).

Loudoun County Courts Project, Leesburg, VA
Engineering design review and ongoing services for the 160,000 SF addition and alterations project. Other services included, multiple renovation designs for logistical support to relocate people, equipment and systems during the renovations. Code review, cost estimating and life-cycle costing were also provided.
Loudoun County Administration Building, Leesburg, VA
New "LEEDS" Certified building construction for multiple agency use. The mechanical design included chilled water system with waste heat recovery for VAV reheat, high efficiency pulse boilers, dual air-handlers per floor, 24-hour glycol cooling systems, and fully commissioned DDC Building Automation and Control System (BACnet.)
Swiss Embassy, Washington, DC
The new residence includes complete leading technology energy conservation systems for "Silver" "LEEDS" Rating. The major features will include, light pollution reduction, rain water reuse for irrigation, systems commissioning, minimum energy performance systems, CFC reduction, optimize energy performance, renewable energy, measurement & verification, system controllability, minimum IAQ performance, carbon dioxide (CO2) monitoring, increased ventilation effectiveness, thermal comfort, daylighting controls and much more.
